Arizona Certified Concealed Carry Weapons Course

Our 8-hr Concealed Carry Course is one of the most thorough in the State of Arizona. We cover all aspects of firearms ownership including: gun safety, maintenance, marksmanship, weapon selection and safe carry procedure with in Arizona's concealed carry law parameters. Lead instructors Matt Dusek and Ross Nicolette bring many years of professional teaching experience along with decades of law enforcement perspective and wisdom to this class as well.

Class cost is $89.00 and then the 5-yr. permit is only $60.00 (payable to AZ, DPS)

These are all Saturday only, 8:00am - 5:00pm. One Day & Done!

Arizona Hunter Safety Education Courses

Sprague's is the place in Yuma to find out about Arizona Hunter Safety Education Courses. These FREE 18-25 hour courses have won national recognition for course content and are sanctioned by the Arizona Game & Fish Dept.

Classes are all from 6 pm - 9 pm in our classroom at Sprague's, except for the 'field day' which is the last day of class and takes place at Adair Ranges on Saturday morning at 7:30 AM.

    6-9 pm in our classroom adjoining our range with final mandatory range
    1/2 day on October 28th at Adair Ranges 7:30 AM (Saturday)

Reloading

This intro to reloading class will cover the entry level basics of reloading center fire pistol & rifle reloading with RCBS reloading equipment. You will learn how to lower your shooting costs up to 60% over many of today's ammunition costs.

Active Shooter Defense Classes

The first few minutes of an active shooter incident, which will be prior to the arrival of law enforcement, is when most of the damage will be done. This seminar is intended to prepare you, your family, employees, staff and students for this potentially lethal situation.

Active Shooter Defense is a course that teaches you and your family how to prepare for the unfortunate possibility of encountering Active Shooters. Whether this violent assault occurs at your work, school, in your neighborhood, church, public places or events you will know how to react and take steps to take to reduce risks and maximize your safety.

Active Shooter Defense emphasizes mental conditioning and preparation for potentially violent situations, identifying and avoiding potentially harmful situations and tactics for use in active shooter incidents. The courses compliment and work within established organizational policies on active shooter incidents. In addition the course teaches participant's the use of available cover and concealment, escape and survival tactics. I can instruct last resort defensive tactics designed to survive these incidents. The seminars cover the following topics:

Basic Gun Maintenance

This 2 hour class will introduce you to the often overlooked, and slightly misunderstood, part of shooting...cleaning your gun.

Instructors have many years of experience in competition, law enforcement, military, combat, and hunting situations to share the "how-to" of proper care and maintenance for your trusted companion.

No guns or ammo in class please. Demo guns will be used.

Know Your AR

Do you own, or are you considering a purchase of, an AR rifle platform?

Spend 3 quality hours learning the "ins-and-outs" of the AR rifle including history, maintenance, accessories, how to zero, and much more. Instructors are former military, combat and law enforcement veterans with many years of AR shooting experience who can guide you through the most popular gun platform on the planet!

Students may bring their own rifle (in a case or box) but no ammo please.
